Used Camera ZEISS IKON ZM

¥295,000

The Zeiss Ikon is a camera that pushes the limits of the rangefinder design. The camera body offers ultimate performance and reliability with extremely precise focusing capability. Exposure can also be controlled with high-precision TTL metering and AE lock functionality. An intricately built camera that makes the most of the Zeiss T* ZM family of high-performance lenses.

- Precision focus is possible thanks to a long rangefinder base length

- Large viewfinder eyepiece

- Center-weighted TTL metering system (aperture priority auto / manual)

- AE lock button for fixing exposure (± 2EV exposure compensation)

- Electronically controlled vertical metal shutter

(1/2000 - 8s, flash sync 1/125s)

- Frame selector can verify shooting range

- Large base length rangefinder

The Zeiss Ikon has a rangefinder base length of 75.0mm. The high-accuracy focus this allows maximizes the performance of the Zeiss T* ZM lenses. Focusing is done is done by aligning the double image of the subject in the center of the rangefinder field of view. Since the rangefinder image and surrounding field of view are clearly differentiated it is possible to focus using the vertical image matching method.

- Amazingly bright viewfinder

Bright frame lines are automatically set based on the lens and it can display the shot frame for 28 – 85mm lenses. Parallax is also corrected automatically at the time of focus. In addition to shutter speed, an LED in the viewfinder also indicates whether AE lock is enabled. During manual metering both the proper exposure shutter speed and current shutter speed are displayed, enabling metered manual measurement.
-High-precision electronically controlled shutter

The shutter is an electronically controlled focal plane shutter. A stepless control shutter unit enables automatic TTL aperture priority exposure.

- Durable metal body

The body uses integrated die-cast aluminum components. The shutter unit and lens bayonet are securely mounted ensuring both resilience and accuracy. And the magnesium alloy exterior offers a luxurious feel suited to its level of performance.

- ZM mount

Features the ZM bayonet mount. In addition to the high-performance Zeiss T* ZM mount family of lenses, various M mount lenses including Leica and Voigtlander may also be used.
