Kimono Dress
Kimono Dress
Nishijin textile is a wonderful traditional Japanese craft that has continued for more than 1,000 years, but nowadays even Japanese people don't wear kimonos, so the demand has decreased dramatically, and the number of craftsmen has decreased from 1,000 to 100.
We are remaking traditional kimonos into dresses to preserve Japanese wonderful kimono culture. We bring traditional classic patterns of kimonos to life in a different and new way by remaking kimonos into modern clothing,
Recently, several people are producing kimono dresses in Japan, but our kimono dresses are produced by craft women who have been tailoring kimonos for decades. In fact, kimono fabrics are silk and difficult to sew. Those who have studied for a few years do not have a high level of skill, which makes a big difference in the quality of the dresses. In that sense, our craft women are very good at sewing and matching patterns, so we can provide excellent quality kimono dresses.
